A Profitable Sale
By: Squealer Napoleon of Animal Farm is selling eggs and wood for profit. “We have a pile of
wood and more than enough eggs.” Says Napoleon. Napoleon has already started selling
off the wood and has been said to have made a good profit.
It has been rumored that the chicken, unwilling to give up their eggs, have been laying an overwhelmingly large amount of eggs and are being forced to give them up.
When asked, Napoleon simply replied “They are not being forced, they are just lying too
many. “When Napoleon was asked, Why not keep the extra eggs for the farm? Napoleon
replied “Why keep what is profitable?”
The workers of Animal Farm have been cutting down wood to make more crop
land. When asked, Why not keep all the wood for the farm? Napoleon replied “We have
consumed a large amount of wood. Too much for just one farm. So, if I can use it as
profit, I will.” A chart is listed below on prices of the Eggs and Wood.

Boxer
By: Clover
Late last night Boxer died. Boxer was a very hard worker and had always refused to take a day off work even when he had a spilt hoof. Boxer was the hardest worker on the farm. A few summer days ago Boxer had fallen while taking stone down to the windmill. Napoleon had decided it was best to send Boxer to the hospital. The van from the hospital came and took Boxer away yesterday morning. The farm was given word the next day, by Squealer, that Boxer had past away while Napoleon was sitting next to him. Boxer’s last words were “Forward in the name of the Rebellion. Long live Animal Farm! Long live Comrade Napoleon! Napoleon is always right!” In two days a banquet will be held in honor of Boxer. All that knew hi, are urged to attend. Boxer had lived a long, and healthy, hard working life. Boxer will be greatly missed.
